
Elder Mike Carr

Brian Michael Carr was born in the District of Columbia and relocated to Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 5 where he grew up. Brian is married to Bonnie Carr of 30 years and is the father of 3 wonderful children, James, Mikael, and Taniya.

Brian received his high school diploma from Lake Clifton Senior High School in Baltimore, MD in 1983. Brian holds an Associate’s of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Jamestown Community College in 1987. Brian Carr pursued his undergraduate education at Morgan State University and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work. Brian also received a Master of Social Work Degree from Temple University. Brian is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Brian had worked in the Baltimore Public School system as a counselor, Boys group homes and is now employed with the DC Child and Family Services Agency for 28 years. Brian has participated on local and radio programs such as, WPGC 95.5 FM, 104.1 FM, NBC channel 4 news Wednesday Child Program. And currently serves on the Adoption Day in Court committee for the District of Columbia. Brian speaks to congregational members at various churches to promote the need for foster care and adoption.

Brian received his Certificate of Ordination as a Minister on September 29, 2018, from True Foundation Apostolic Ministries under the direction of Bishop Eric Zimmerman. Minister Carr along with his wife Bonnie started New Breath of Life Covenant Ministries, Inc. in which he received his Certificate of Ordination as an Elder and his wife Pastor from Ebenezer International Covenant Fellowship/Certificate of Affiliation Certificate on June 26,2021.

Brian enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, singing, watching action/mystery movies, and watching basketball and football games.
